How much space do you need?
We require a 3.5 x 4 metre stage space.
How is it best to time things?
We typically arrive at 6:30pm to be set up and sound-checked by 8pm, starting the first dance at 8:30pm and then going straight into our first set. However, we are very happy to adjust the timings to fit your wedding schedule.
Can I pick the bands playlist?
We're delighted to have you choose songs from our repertoire. However, we find it works best when we have the flexibility to determine the order based on the dance floor dynamics. Feel free to let us know any specific songs you'd like included or excluded rather than a strict playlist order. This approach allows us to tailor the music to suit all age groups and ensure everyone enjoys the celebration.
Where will you travel to?
While we're based in the North East, we're available across the UK and for performances worldwide!
Can I see you play live?
Yes, please check out our live recordings online! Unfortunately, since we primarily perform at weddings, we no longer play public gigs.
Will you learn our special song?
If there's a special song you'd like played, simply let us know. We'll check its feasibility and get back to you. For those truly cherished songs, we often recommend playing the original version you love through our sound system.
Is the video on your website a true reflection of the band?
Yes, it is! We sound and look just as we do in our live videos, and perform exactly as we would at your event!
How do I book you?
Please contact Alive Network to check our availability. They will handle your booking and then pass you over to us to finalise the details four weeks before your event.
Are you able to DJ in between sets?
We use Spotify for our DJ playlist, so please send us your requests two weeks before your event, and we'll curate the playlist for you. Alternatively, you can send us a link to a playlist you already have, and we'll play it for you.
Can we make DJ requests in advance to my event?
Yes, of course! Sometimes, we encounter challenges with Wi-Fi at remote event venues, so it's always best to send them in advance.
Can we use your sound system for speeches?
We typically arrive and set up during speeches, which often take place in another room. However, if there are speeches after we have finished setting up, we can arrange for a spare microphone. This arrangement needs to be confirmed in advance.
What equipment do you use?
We use an RCF PA system, 2 x RCF HD 32As and RCF Subwoofer. Having such a powerful PA system allows us to deliver crystal-clear sound and the perfect volume at your event, ensuring your guests enjoy the music without ear ringing the next day!
Each member uses top-tier touring-grade equipment to ensure an uncompromised performance.
Do you have lights?
We have a lighting rig to add some vibrant party atmosphere to your event.
How long do you play for?
Our standard performance includes two sets of 60 minutes each, but we can customise this to suit your event's schedule.
What time do you start and finish?
Our typical schedule includes our first set from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, followed by our second set from 10:30pm to 11:30pm. We are completely flexible, so please let us know what works best for you!
How long do you take to set up?
We typically require about 90 minutes for setup and soundcheck. Depending on the load-in conditions at your venue, this may vary slightly.
Can I provisionally book you?
Yes, you can provisionally book us. Please note that we can only hold the date for 48 hours, as we may receive enquiries from other clients.
What if the band split up before my event?
As dedicated professionals, our band considers our work our livelihood, and we take our commitments very seriously. You can rest assured that such a situation will not occur.
Can my sisters/bosses/daughters dog sing with your band?
We kindly ask that you discuss this in advance with us. We prefer participants to have some stage experience, particularly because we use in-ear monitoring without on-stage speakers, which can make it challenging for guests to hear themselves. We're happy to coordinate this with you beforehand, ensuring that the individual involved is sober and careful with our equipment.
What will the band wear?
Our usual attire is laid-back and smart. However, if your event requires a more formal dress code, please let us know, and we will ensure to dress accordingly.
Does the band have PAT and PLI certificates?
Yes, we have Public Liability insurance and PAT testing certificates needed for playing live in all venues.

How much does it cost to book the band?

Do Algorhythm have any specific requirements?
We'll need a break room before we start and between sets for changing and a hot meal and drinks for the duration of our time at the venue. Just to note, we have two vegans and one with a nut allergy, and we hope this can be catered for.
What type/size venues are you able to play at?
We've performed in a wide range of venues, including festivals, large marquees, ballrooms, intimate clubs, and smaller venues.
How loud will the band be?
We can adjust our volume to suit any environment or venue restrictions, ensuring everyone can enjoy themselves. Whether guests prefer dancing or chatting off the dance floor, we aim to create the perfect atmosphere for both!
What is the band power requirement?
We typically require two double 13-amp supplies near the stage area. Our LED lighting ensures efficient power consumption, and we prefer separate power sources for lighting and audio equipment to minimize potential noise interference.
Typically, our setup draws approximately 16 amps when fully operational. The only issues we've encountered were at events in marquees with insufficient generator capacity.
